Dr. Sharad Shyamsunder Dhaktode has done his (Mastery
of Surgery) M.S. (General Surgery) from K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai.

He
has an excellent academic record right from schooling
days, when he had stood first in St. Pius Convent, Mulund
in SSC. After passing HSC from Ramnivas Ruia College,
he took admission at G.S.Medical college attatched to
K.E.M. Hospital which is acknowledged to be one of the
prestigious institutions not only in our country, but
in the entire subcontinent.
He
secured Distinctions in Anatomy and Forensic Medicine
in 1st and 2nd M.B.B.S. respectively. During his residency,
he worked under eminent honarary General Surgeons like
Dr. D. K. Dastur at R.N.Cooper Hospital which is considered
to be one of the busy Trauma referral centres.

His
experience in orthopaedic training was under Dr. L. N. Vora,
renowned orthopaedic surgeon. He worked for 6 months with
Dr. D. S. Pardnani in super speciality unit of Urology.
He
was Registrar under Dr. A. N. Supe General Surgeon and Gastro
enterologist and gained experience in trauma Management, Surgical
intensive care unit management and endoscopic procedures under
his guidance.
